Confidential Contact Persons
At NSVV Heyendaal, we want everyone to be able to practise sports and participate in activities in a safe and positive environment. However, you may find yourself in a situation that does not feel right. For example, you may experience inappropriate behaviour or language, such as bullying, discrimination, sexual harassment, or aggression. If this happens, you can contact a confidential contact person.
The confidential contact person is the first point of contact for reports of inappropriate behaviour. They offer a listening ear and, together with you, look for possible solutions. From within the association, support, advice and information are provided. Sometimes this is sufficient for you to continue on your own. If not, you will be referred to someone within the association or to professional support services.
Each incident is discussed anonymously with a member of the board, as the board is responsible for ensuring a safe association.
Do you need help? You can approach a confidential contact person in the sports hall, contact them by email, or call them. They can refer you to an organisation that can help you further or pass on the complaint.
The confidential contact persons are Wietske Krijgsheld (Women’s 8) and Ivar Willigenburg (Men’s 2). They can be reached via vcp@nsvvheyendaal.nl, but you may also approach them in person or send them a message.
All emails sent to the confidential contact persons are forwarded directly to their private email addresses and are not stored by the association. After sending an email, you will receive an automatic reply containing the private phone numbers of the confidential contact persons, allowing you to make contact more quickly if you wish.
